News on the twins Hi there! Can't believe it's September already. Boy how time flies. The girls have started a new school this year, Rossville Christian Academy, in preparation for our move to Somerville, TN, anticipated to occur in late October. They love it! They have joined the k4 thru 3rd grade cheerleading squad, and are loving it. We are hoping this will also help Emily with her shyness. Emily hit a milestone this week! She learned to ride her bike without training wheels! Sarah has been riding a two wheeler for quite some time, and is now zooming around like Evel Knievel! Grandpa got Emily a smaller bike, thinking that maybe she was afraid because her feet didn't touch the ground very well on her princess bike. So anyway, we try out the smaller bike, and Lo and Behold! Emily was riding! Before, on the princess bike, she whined and fretted every time we worked with her on it. This time, she had a HUGE grin on her face, and Grandpa was immensely pleased with Emily's newfound prowess on her bike. She's even starting off on her own! We're calling the bike "the magic pink bike"
In other news, the new house is coming along nicely. All the brick work and stone work is finished on the outside. The wiring is finished, we've picked out our lighting fixtures, the sheet rock is finished, and has been mudded, the stone on the fireplace in the great room is done. We gave the builder our selections for paint colors yesterday, the cabinet guy is working on our cabinets, the concrete pad outside the garage has been poured, and the front walk has been poured. Still to come is plumbing fixtures, hardwood flooring, tile flooring for the kitchen and bathrooms. Anyway it's coming along great! I'm so excited about moving I can't stand it! Well, I guess that's all for now. Check back later for more updates. God Bless- Julie
